The Annual Spring Garage Sale for international students will be held on May 15th
(Tuesday) from 12:00am-13:00am at the courtyard of the International Office.

This event is organized by the Hokkaido University Internaitonal Women's Club (IWC)
and held twice a year, May and October.
As a service to international students, the members of IWC collect many valuable good and
then sell them ultra-cheap prices.

Please prepare 100 yen and 50 yen coins since seller usually will not have enough change.

If you are interested in some of these goods, please visit the courtyard of the
International Office (Kita 15jo, Nishi 8chome) at 12:00 am on May 15.

Volunteer group SKY, registered with the Sapporo International Communication Plaza Foundation, is offering international students a guided tour of the Clock Tower, famous for its association with Hokkaido University. The 2-hour tour will include the Sapporo Station, Ekimae-dori, and the clock tour. English explanation is available. An Origami workshop at 3:00pm at the Plaza is optional.

Dear Friends,

we are looking for international students interested in participating in the Museum Festival, 17th, 18th and 20th of March, 10am-16pm. Drinks from different countries will be featured at the refreshment area/bar in the museum . Anyone who has some time, would like to hang out with our japanese counterparts, and contribute to the event by making their country`s specialty drink, please join the event and Hokkaido Cafee project . You can bring friends, and participate for a few hours (morning or afternoon any day of your choosing).

What: Cafe Project during Museum Festival
What to do: prepare your country drink and enjoy exchange with Hokudai students and Sapporo sitizens.
Fees for the ingredients will be reimbursed.
When: one of days 17th, 18th or 20th, morning(10-13) or afternoon (13-16)
Where: Hokkaido University Museum, 1st floor

Please write your name, faculty, country and drink you are planning to prepare, and if you need special equipment.
Also please chose the date and time you would like to participate.
