Hokkaido University International Student Association (HUISA) - is aimed to make life easy for International students and other foreigners who live in Sapporo.
We would like to thank all of you that submitted proposals, ideas and comments to revise the current HUISA constitution. We have planned a meeting for Sunday March 16th at the Center for Sustainability Science (CENSUS) from 18:00 to 20:00 hrs (6-8pm). At this meeting we will discuss the proposals presented that you can find in the pdf file attached to this message, and adopt any changes based on a majority vote. Please be on time. You are invited to "Hinamatsuri" Party
"Hinamatsuri" is a Japanese traditional festival (Doll Festival) for young girls. Come see our adorable traditional “Hina” dolls that will be lined up on a stair-shaped display. At the party, you can enjoy a Japanese tea ceremony (you can also try making tea), violin performance, picture-story show, “origami”. Please join us to celebrate “Hinamatsuri” together!
Date: March 1st (Sat.), 2014

Please join in the making of snow sculptures for this year's snow festival. See attachment for details.
We are very sorry to inform you that the culture festival scheduled for this weekend, January 18, 2014, has been postponed. we were just informed by the University authority that the festival may disturb, and pose a security risk to the Japanese National University Entrance Exams which will be held this weekend on campus.
We therefore have no option but to postpone the event. We sincerely ask for your understanding and will inform you of the new date soon.

The HUISA cultural festival (Bunkasai) will be held on 18th January, 2014.
Venue: Clark Kaikan basement event hall.
If you would like to perform please send an email to email@example.com, indicating number of participants, type and length of performance and equipment required e.g CD player etc.
There will also be a fashion show. Please come and showcase your country's culture through music, dance, traditional attire etc.
