MTG players?

I'm an exchange student at Hokudai and I've been wondering if there are magic players in Sapporo. I don't speak japanese too well yet, but I thought playing magic might be a fun way to learn. Where would this be possible?

I play legacy and I currently have just decks with English cards. I'm trying to translate them just to get a basic vocabulary for the game, but it's going pretty slow at the moment.

There seems to be a lot of views for this thread and yet no replies so far.

If you have any information about MTG in Sapporo at all, I would be very interested to hear about it. So please, do reply if you have anything at all to say. Thank you.

Also,

If you have any knowledge of another Japanese forum, on which I could ask the same question, please do tell.

Thank you again.

if you happened to go to Ishiya Chocolate factory in Sapporo, there's an English magician who played tricks on weekends.

or you can ask them before going there

Thank you, but

I should've specified that I'm talking about Magic the Gathering, the card game, not magic as in tricks. But I appreciate you taking your time to reply anyway.

I think if anyoone knows about MtG in Hokudai, it will be the members of the TRPG club (mostly, if not all, Japanese).

Of course, they are RPGers, but they are the one who are up to date with MtG in Sapporo.

(Also, you could join the JIGG (details: http://jigg-japan.blogspot.com/ )

It is also more like a board game-rpg list, but they have (had?) lively magic discussion.
